Asa Council brings over 20 years of mortgage industry expertise and a unique perspective shaped by a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her forthcoming Master of Business Administration (MBA), set for completion in December 2024. With a career spanning more than 35 years in sales, Asa has earned a reputation for her commitment to affordability and accessibility in homeownership. Currently, she chairs the Housing Affordability Committee for the Montgomery County Chapter of the NAACP and previously led as the Housing Affordability Chair for the Prince George’s County Association of Realtors.
Passionate about guiding families on their journey to homeownership, Asa focuses on providing tailored mortgage solutions that align with each client’s long-term financial goals. She actively educates clients on mortgage programs that support generational wealth through homeownership and ensures they feel informed every step of the way. Asa hosts monthly homebuyer education workshops, partnering with various organizations to equip prospective buyers with essential knowledge about credit, savings, and the mortgage process. Her approach is rooted in clear communication and collaboration with real estate agents and other partners, ensuring that each loan transaction is smooth, transparent, and timely.
